This webpage is only partially in English, but with the following small guide and the help of an English-Danish dictionary, you will be able to use our database. In the top right grey box there is a search field where you can type in places, animals, people, plants, transportation devices, photographers, artist, etc. in Danish. To only see the historical photos make sure that only the small box marked “Arktiske billeder” is ticked, likewise with the art and objects and the small box marked “Arktiske genstande” and with the sound and the small box marked “Arktisk Lyd”. When you have chosen your search words and pressed enter you will see all the files containing your search words. Click on one of the files to see the information related to it and click on it again to see it enlarged.
