Tekst bagpå billedet: "Eskimoes catching ca. 8 inch. Long Salvelimos malma, W. caught in the stonesettings (traps) near the mouth of the fishing creek a few miles E of Bernard Harbour, N.W.T. Looking down the river." Frits Johansens (1882-1957) fotosamling. Han var zoolog, stud.mag. ved Københavns Universitet og deltog på flere ekspeditioner i Arktis. Denne fotosamling omhandler the Canadian Arctic Expedition, 1913-1918, the Expedition to Hudson and James Bays, 1920, samt the Canadian Hudson Strait Expedition, 1927. Der findes en relateret samling på University of Calgarys historiske arkiv.
